Thanks so much for this article. I wish I'd been a member of this Forum before this article. I have always never been swayed by that rhetoric of Attah's Presidency. His low level of achievement in Akwa Ibom does not justify his quest.
I spoke then against Yar'Adua imposition on Nigerians. I am now beginning to be vindicated.
we here in europe are following the activities of election there.
I would however, not conderm whoever coming out there for presidency. but should be a matter competency and credibility. Attah or whoever should come out on television his past and present acchievement in his state or elsewhere, just like we are seing development program on BenTv here in europe on some state administration achievment in Nigeria.it is not a qualification for presidency because Nigeria need a president who can walk tall with chest out in confident and rub shoulder with world leaders. Nigeria is strong country, with inteligent people. so we need an inteligent but educated and fluent outspoken english leader.
Infact, Nigeria politic should not be base on seniority and Power Broker again but competency
Who ever crawl and manipulate himself into power there to distroy the new Nigeria, must prepare to pay the prize in future, enough is enough.
