Could this be true Nsikak. That one who intends to pursue a postgraduate degree is limited by age? That sounds strange, really strange. Or is it me?

I need some1 to educate. This may be a step in the wrong direction.

But why assigning age limit to some1 who want to pursue a Postgraduate programme.

akwa ibom state should go ahead and develop this great institution as this will help in expanding our man powe capacity.

I was and still happy about the establishment of this Institute. It was very shocking to see in the admission form some kind of discrimination, age discrimation. People beyond 28yrs and 30yrs of age are not encourage to apply for a master program and P.hd respectively. This is very saddening.

If we are bringing development to this our beautiful state why limit it to some people? why not let everyone enjoy this brilliant idea. I personally want to say that there are people in that age group who wouldn't want to make use of this opportunity. So why deny those who are dying to grab it and run with it.

I'm not affected by this but it sure is an issue. There should be no discrimiation of any sort, be it race, age,gender and religion in this era.
